Marinating Filet Mignon Steak

Suggestion:
Marinate with pepper, tarragon, thyme or savory, chopped garlic and red wine for 4-24 hours.

Do NOT make a mistake and marinte with salt. Salt goes with water, but water in steak is important for tendernes of the steak. We cook steaks on a very high heat beacuse of all the natural jucies inside of the steak. With these procedure we trap the natural steak juice and steak remains tender. Salt on the other hand will pull the moister out of the steak before we even start cooking. The best procedure is to salt the steaks just a few minutes before we start cooking, so we can enjoy the most tender steaks.
